The client desired to build an E-commerce Shopping cart with an ability to control data of his site including the different type of products with different templates.
Cygnet Infotech re-designed a website with an automated back-end process to manage different type of products. This website allows back-admin to manage the site content along with the view and location of the products with range of discounts.
Cygnet Infotech also successfully migrated previous data to this new website apart from facing challenges arose due to poor database design of previous system.

Background
- The original site was built as a static site. Even though the site included the back-end interface to manage list of products, the client had to depend on technical persons to create a new page for any new product and set other properties like attributes, discounts, or related products for that product.
- Client required an online shopping cart with comprehensive product catalogue and an automated back-end process to manage different type of products. This website was supposed to allow back-admin to manage the site content along with the view and location of the products.
- The site also provided a module to setup loyalty and marketing programs.

- The client collaborated with Cygnet Infotech to deliver an online store for dental and nursing equipments using .Net technologies.
- The system provided a utility to define product catalogue. The feature allowed the users to define product description and also set the sequence of the Product Categories/Products.
- Carriage Charges to define shopping charges that are to be applied to the orders based on shipping location.
- Mini CMS that allowed static page Content management.
- Marketing tool that allowed defining tokens and loyalty coupons.
- An inbuilt CRM that allowed managing customer details and assigning tokens to preferred customers and setting promotional pricing
